Full membership is open to spas in the following categories:

  • Club Spa

    Club Spas focus primarily on physical fitness but also offer various professionally administered spa services on a day-use basis.

  • Day Spa

    Day Spas offer clients a wide range of professionally administered spa services on a day-use basis.

  • Destination Spa

    Destination Spas are facilities that are designed to guide their clients towards a healthy lifestyle. Contrary to the day spa, a destination spa is usually chosen for an extended stay, during which the client participates in a comprehensive programme that includes spa services and treatments, physical fitness activities, wellness education, healthy cuisine and special interest programmes.

  • Medical Spa

    Medical Spas operate under the full-time, on-site supervision of a licensed health care professional whose primary purpose is to provide comprehensive medical and wellness care in an environment that integrates spa services and treatments, as well as traditional, complementary and/or alternative therapies and treatments. The facility operates within the scope of practice of its staff, which can include both aesthetic/cosmetic and prevention/wellness procedures and services.

  • Thalassotherapy/Mineral Springs Spa

    Mineral Springs Spas offer an on-site source of natural mineral, thermal or sea water which is used in professionally administered hydrotherapy treatments.

  • Resort/Hotel Spa

    Resort or Hotel Spas are incorporated within a resort or a hotel, to offer hotel guests and/or residents professionally administered spa services and treatments either a la carte or within an extended multi-day programme.

Affiliate membership is open to:

  • Companies related to the spa sector:

    suppliers, architects & designers, journalist and associations

  • Individual Therapist:

    therapists who work in spas that are members of the Cyprus Spa Association.

Non-members:

Many of the CSA’s seminars and educational lectures are also open to interested non-members (at a charge).
